Thanks for the "RAM" memories
In 2006, the following achievements were made on the technology front:
- Facebook was born;
- Intel Chips were transitioned into Apple Mac devices;
- Widgets were a big deal on the internet (does anyone remember widgets?);
- The 1 billionth song was purchased from Apple iTunes;
- Internet Explorer was the browser to use;
- Nintendo Wii came to the market;
- “to Google” was added to dictionaries;
- Wikileaks was established;
- Amazon introduced its Elastic Computer Cloud – starting the cloud revolution; and
- Michael Trimblett started working for Loyal I.T. Solutions.
It’s this final dot point we’d like to celebrate today. Michael started out with Loyal I.T. as a technician and worked his way up over the years, taking a break for studies and ending up as General Manager and cyber security expert (Certified Ethical Hacker status). He is the longest standing employee, after business owner Michael Goodwin.
It is therefore with much sadness (but pride) that we announce, after 16 years of loyal service, Michael Trimblett is leaving Loyal I.T. Solutions to take on his dream role in the world of cyber security. Michael’s expertise and skills are too many to list but his main characteristics have been his thirst for learning and passing his knowledge on to others. Michael will be sadly and sorely missed but we are excited that we were able to foster his expanding skillset that will be an asset for his next endeavour.
