ANZAC Day and Our Community
Honouring Our Community and Heroes on ANZAC Day
It’s ANZAC Day tomorrow and I wanted to take this time to reflect on and thank the community that we live in and the community that brought us to this point.
Community is one of the pillars of our Code of Honour.
“We are committed to supporting the community which supports us. We look for opportunities to assist charities and community groups with our resources and our time. We are passionate about our community and promote it wherever possible.”
Today I thank the wonderful community of the Central Coast which has supported our family for almost 30 years. We are fortunate to have friends from our youth who live close by and we continue to enjoy life with. We have also made so many more friends along the way.
Our business wouldn’t be here or survive without the support of the business community who believe in us and who reciprocate our value of Loyalty.
We support our community where we can as one way of saying thank you. We have been associated with and sponsored organisations including Coast Shelter, Rotary (where I have been fortunate enough to be President and recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow), The Iris Foundation, Gosford Erina Chamber of Commerce, and the Central Coast Mariners.
Most importantly I would like express my gratitude to those that have gone before us. Our defence personnel who served and those that gave their lives for the country we now enjoy.
I hope that we serve their sacrifice well.
And to our serving members of the Australian Defence Forces, our thanks for your dedication and commitment to keeping our country safe.
I wish you all a peaceful ANZAC Day.
